She helps individuals and families develop personalized wealth strategies designed to support their long-term goals, then reviews and adjusts those plans as their lives, priorities, and market conditions evolve.
Debra’s work is centered on helping clients make informed decisions with greater clarity and confidence. Her planning process incorporates education, guidance, and ongoing review, with a focus on asset allocation, retirement income planning, estate investment planning, and risk management. By helping clients organize and simplify their financial affairs, Debra allows them to focus more fully on the people, priorities, and goals that matter most.
Debra’s practice has grown largely through referrals from existing clients, reflecting the trust she has earned over more than 35 years in the financial services industry. She began her career in 1991 with Wells Fargo Investments, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, after earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University. She passed the CFP® exam in 1999 and later advanced to Private Wealth Financial Advisor, Managing Director – Investments, with Wells Fargo Advisors.
Debra has been invited to attend the Barron’s Top Women Advisors Summit, an annual gathering of leading women advisors in the industry.
Outside of work, Debra enjoys spending time with her husband, Alan, to whom she has been married for 36 years. Together, they share a love of hiking, travel, and the outdoors, including hiking to Mount Everest Base Camp in 2018 and climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2022. They are also actively involved in their church community.

Once objectives are established, Derrick utilizes the eMoney® planning platform to develop comprehensive, goals-based financial strategies. This approach enables him to track and review each client’s progress toward important milestones such as retirement, while adapting to changes over time. An integral part of Derrick’s practice is constructing customized investment portfolios tailored to each client’s unique objectives and risk tolerance. His disciplined approach focuses on helping clients pursue their financial goals while thoughtfully managing risk. After implementing a strategy, Derrick conducts ongoing reviews and evaluations to help ensure portfolios remain aligned with clients’ evolving needs and market conditions. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, Derrick served as Assistant Branch Manager at Wells Fargo Bank in Des Moines, Iowa, where he specialized in cash management and personal banking. During his tenure, he earned a national Service Excellence Award. Derrick has completed the rigorous requirements to obtain the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. Derrick earned bachelor’s degrees in business management and finance from the Harold Walter Siebens School of Business at Buena Vista University in 2008. While attending Buena Vista, he participated in football, basketball, and tennis, and was recognized as a member of the Dean’s Fellows program, awarded to the top 5 percent of business students. Derrick and his wife, Jamie, have two daughters, Kennedy & Kinley. They enjoy traveling, coaching their children’s youth sports teams, and are actively involved in their church community. Derrick also serves as a Board Member for New Point Church.

Clark Bishop

(515) 245-3408Clark strives to provide excellent customer service to clients while providing administrative support to the team’s financial advisors. His responsibilities include working with clients to resolve their various service needs, preparing account reports, supporting financial reviews, and completing trades. Clark brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the team, having previously worked as a licensed banker with Wells Fargo bank before his current role. He received the Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Recognition Program distinction for 2026. The Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Recognition Program is open to eligible branch support associates that have delivered exceptional performance during the prior calendar year. Performance factors are inclusive of client experience, partnership with Financial Advisors to support their objectives, and task execution. Participants are placed into one of two categories. Pinnacle Level are the Top 100 performers as selected by manager nomination and divisional review. Excellence Level are all remaining participants. Clark holds the FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 66 registrations, as well as a Life Insurance license. He earned a B.A. in criminology with a minor in sociology from the University of Northern Iowa. Clark and his wife, Amy, have two daughters, Mya and Cadence. In his free time, he supports his daughters’ activities— band, choir, and theater—as well as enjoying travel, motorcycle rides, fishing, movies and music. He is active in serving his church through music ministry and pastoral search teams, and he volunteers with a number of charities, including Reach Global ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Meals from the Heartland, Walk for Life and the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
