Alec Nielsen, ChFC, CMFC, CRPC

As a Financial Advisor, I work with clients to help them realize, define, and prioritize their goals. I start my process by listening and getting to know my clients, their concerns, and desires. I am proud to work alongside family members who are also financial advisors including my wife, Holly Nielsen, and father-in-law, William Hudson. I have been in the financial services industry since 2009. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Advisors, I worked in business development and wealth advising for multiple Iowa based companies. Throughout my career, I have continued to broaden my education by obtaining the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Charted Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC), and Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC) designations. Before beginning my financial career, I earned my bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, minoring in Communication Studies. Currently, I am on the Foundation Board of Directors for Broadlawns Medical Center. I am also actively involved with IMPACT Melanoma and the Single Parent Provision organization. Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife, Holly, my children, Mila & Axel, and our dogs, Simba & Malley. I also enjoy going on family bike rides, Hawkeye and North Carolina sporting events, and tinkering around with home improvement projects.
