Alec Sankey, ChFC, CFP, MBA

Alec began his career as a Finance Officer with the United States Air Force at Offutt Air Force Base where he developed his fundamental financial management knowledge. During his six years in the Air Force, he served in various roles including: Chief of Disbursing, Chief of Payroll, Deputy Base Controller and as Chief Financial Analyst in Afghanistan for the NATO transition. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance at the University of Iowa and his Masters of Business Administration from Bellevue University in Finance and International Management. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER? Professional, Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and a Chartered Special Needs Consultant (ChSNC). Alec has been a financial advisor for Wells Fargo Advisors for nine years. He has been recognized as a member of the Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council in 2022, 2023 and 2024 [1]. He was named a Forbes Top Next-Gen Wealth Advisor Best-in-State in Arizona in 2023 and 2024 [2]. He has also been recognized as a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Advisor in 2024 [3], and a team member of a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Team in 2024 & 2025 [4,5], the Burris & Sankey Team with Senior Financial Advisor, Robb Burris. Away from the office, Alec spends his free time with his wife Cassandra, daughter Charlize, son Emmitt, family and friends. He stays active both physically and mentally, playing golf, working out and is an avid reader.
