Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor
James Anderson holds the Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor designation. The designation, also known as ADPA®, educates financial advisors about the unique financial needs and considerations of domestic partners.
Advisors with Wells Fargo Advisors were the first in the industry to receive the ADPA® designation, after the firm created the program in conjunction with the College for Financial Planning. Financial Advisors with the ADPA® designation have been trained and certified on key issues affecting domestic partners and are dedicated to providing them with tailored planning strategies. The curriculum includes factors and situations that cause planning for domestic partners to be different from that of legally married spouses, including wealth transfer, taxation, retirement planning and estate planning issues, as well as alternative planning strategies for such situations.
Wells Fargo Advisors is not a legal or tax advisor.
