Michelle Konkle, CFP®
Michelle has always loved math and numbers, and that love has grown into a passion for helping clients achieve and maintain their financial health. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in both Finance and Business Management from Indiana University.
Michelle joined the Axiom Financial Strategies Group of Wells Fargo Advisors in 2015 after almost ten years in the industry, including time at both Hilliard Lyons and the downtown Louisville office of Wells Fargo Advisors. She is tech-savvy and computer savvy and strives to handle projects in a quick, efficient, and competent manner.
Michelle chose to earn the Certified Financial PlannerTM certification, which is issued by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, because it is the nation’s highest and best all-inclusive financial planning credential. She is required to complete 30 credit hours of continuing education every two years to maintain this premier credential and ensure that she is up-to-date on the complexities of the ever-changing financial climate. The continuing education requirement also includes a focus on ethical practices, ensuring that all CFP® professionals uphold the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence.
Michelle is responsible for comprehensive planning for the Axiom Financial Strategies Group team, which includes asset allocation and retirement planning strategies for clients, liability management, and strategies involving life insurance and long-term-care insurance. Michelle also oversees the team’s many 401k plans, taking them through design and implementation, and continuing with the employee enrollment process and reviews.
Michelle lives in Georgetown, Indiana, with her husband Nathan and their beautiful daughter. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and traveling. She is currently serving her community as the Secretary of the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity Clark & Floyd Indiana.
