Our team believes that there are many attributes that set Jeff Barnes apart from most individuals you meet – most distinctly his character. Jeff is dedicated to doing the right thing for each client and business owner, personalizing an investment strategy that fits each client's specific needs.
Jeff has been a Financial Advisor to both individual and institutional clients for over 20 years. Prior to entering the financial services industry, Jeff spent 15 years in a variety of management positions in the retail and telecommunications industries.
In 1990, Jeff began his career in the Financial Services Industry with Merrill Lynch. In 2000, Jeff joined forces with Radene Gordon-Beck to form The Barnes and Beck Financial Consulting Group. Their practice has been built around a mutual level of intensity and focus on working with great clients and serving their needs.
Jeff leads the team, and focuses on investment planning, asset management strategies, estate investment planning, insurance planning, and corporate and nonprofit portfolio management strategies.
Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Missouri Western State College in St. Joseph, Missouri, where he majored in Political Science and minored in Economics.
Jeff holds the General Securities Representative Series 7, General Securities Sales Supervisory Series 9/10, Managed Futures Funds Series 31, Uniform Securities Agent State Series 63, and Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination series 65 securities registrations. Jeff also is licensed in insurance and annuity products.
Away from the office, Jeff's focus revolves around his family, starting with his wife of 40 years, Beverly, their two children and five grandchildren.

Radene Gordon-Beck believes sound financial strategies require planning, discipline, and common sense. As a Financial Advisor, she works with individuals, families, and business owners to develop and implement investment plans that align their personal values with their financial goals.
She enjoys building lasting relationships with her clients and learning about each of them personally. While working at Merrill Lynch, she met Jeff Barnes. In 2000, she teamed with him to create The Barnes & Beck Financial Consulting Group. This helped to enhance her practice by offering her the opportunity to work with an individual whom she respects and shares the same client-centric values.
After graduating cum laude from Muhlenberg College with a degree in Economics and Finance, she joined the Bank of Pennsylvania as a Senior Credit Analyst in 1991. Later, Radene held a number of managerial positions with the Reading Hospital and Medical Center and then was the Director of Business Development for Main Street Bancorp. In 1995, she earned her MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.
In 2004, Radene received the CIMA® (Certified Investment Management Analyst) designation from IMCA™ through the Warton School, University of Pennsylvania. In 2009, she received the CPWA® (Certified Private Wealth Advisor) from IMCA™ in conjunction with the Booth School at the University of Chicago. Today, Radene focuses on the areas of corporate and private retirement plans*, alternative investment programs, high net worth client management and asset allocation, and risk management. Being involved in the community is important to Radene. She is active with the Reading Symphony Orchestra as well as a variety of local business and women's organizations.
Away from the office, Radene spends her free time with her husband, Hugh, and their son, Brandt. She also pursues her passion, competitive horseback riding, with an emphasis on the discipline of Dressage.

William entered the business world in 1996, and before joining the Barnes & Beck Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, he had a number of managerial positions in both retail and wholesale operations.He is a graduate of the Accounting Program at the Reading Area Community College.
As a member of the Barnes and Beck Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, William's focus is on marketing, as well as servicing and supporting clients as they progress through the many stages of their financial lives. He also assists in the management of the team's business practices.
William's outside interests include building and fixing computers, mixology, biking, restoring old photographs, and cinema.
Senior Registered Client Associate
Betsy earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Millersville University in 1978 where she majored in Sociology. She spent 17 years in the banking industry as a Customer Sales and Service Representative and Branch Sales Manager prior to joining Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2004.
Betsy's responsibilities include administration of client accounts and operational processing. Betsy also acts as a liaison between our clients, the financial advisors and the firm, thus helping to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.
Betsy is a long time resident of the Manheim area in Lancaster County, PA.
