Cheryl’s parents never imagined a gift for their 10 year old daughter would spawn a passion that would lead to her a career she loves. Her new board game, Stocks & Bonds transported her to the world of Wall Street where she learned the value of investing during both Bullish and Bearish markets. And it set the tone for a lifetime joy of investing in the markets. After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida, Cheryl enjoyed her first career in the media business. Along the way, she earned her MBA, and it further piqued her desire to pursue a career in investments, her true love. Cheryl began her financial advisor career with a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo in 2004. She earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® designation in 2008. Recently, she was honored to be recognized one of Forbes 2024 and 2025 Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State. She describes new client relationships start with a plan. She seeks first to understand her clients’ current situation, concerns, risk tolerance, and financial priorities that may include family dynamics and multigenerational objectives. She works to formulate a customized investment strategy and begins the development of a comprehensive investment plan. Plans naturally adjusts every year with ongoing conversations as life circumstances change. Advanced strategies work best when she engages with clients and their tax and legal professionals. Cheryl and her husband Glenn reside in the Sarasota area and share their home with retired racing Greyhound, Fargo. She can often be found on their boat in the beautiful Sarasota-Bradenton waters, volunteering for a local animal rescue group, working on her photography.
