Financial Advisor

Clint Markin, CRPC®, CFP®, Managing Director - Investments I am an Eau Claire native who returned over a decade ago after living in the Twin Cities for 9 years. While living in the Twin Cities, I was a Chef for a number of years. For anyone who has not worked in a professional kitchen, it is important to know that a Chef’s guiding principal revolves around mise-en-place (meez ahn plahs). French for “everything in its place,” mise-en-place means making sure your ingredients are prepared and portioned prior to the start of service. It means having your “station” stocked with pots and pans. It means making sure your station is clean before, during, and after service. This is what allows a chef to prepare dozens of meals so quickly and (seemingly) effortlessly. But mise-en-place means so much more, it’s an ethos. It’s being prepared for anything and everything that is thrown at you, both literally and figuratively. Whether it’s being mentally prepared for a busy dinner rush, or getting ready for a dream vacation, or having your affairs in order in case of an untimely death. As a Financial Advisor, mise-en-place means crafting a plan that revolves around what matters most in your life – your Family, your Occupation, your Recreation, and your Money (FORM). My objective is to help my clients and their families bring clarity to the chaos of life. Critical life events will occur – for everyone, and I believe good decisions stem from proper planning. Having one’s mise-en-place in order can help prepare you for the puzzle that is life and many of its uncontrollable aspects. Our Group has developed and refined our “3D FORMula” to help provide that clarity
