Richard enjoys the challenges and rewards of working in an industry that enables him to make positive multigenerational impacts on people’s lives. For more than a decade, he has been thankful to celebrate alongside his clients as they achieve major milestones, including the birth of children and grandchildren, marriages, and college graduations.
Richard and his wife, Hannah, have two adorable daughters, a large, lovable German Shepherd, and two adorable French Bulldog. As a family, they enjoy taking day trips to the beach and other areas throughout Washington. Although Richard is completely outnumbered by girls at home, he wouldn’t have it any other way.
Away from the office, Richard can be found warming his seat at the stadium and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks on game nights. He spends his vacation time traveling and is an avid movie buff. If you challenge him with a film quote, chances are he’ll be able to tell you what movie it is from.
Laura feels fortunate that each client trusts her to be a part of both their financial life and their personal life. She fell in love with finance after taking an accounting class in college. While majoring in finance at Washington State University, she interned at a hedge fund on the east coast. She began her career in the financial industry in 2007 and joined our team in 2014.
Laura is an avid outdoorsman and fitness enthusiast. When she’s not running or doing CrossFit, her free time is spent with her husband, Casey, casting a line, hunting, or working around their property. Laura and her three brothers were the fourth generation to grow up on the family farm in Dryad, WA. Laura’s and Casey’s families have provided them with nieces and nephews whom they love to spoil and spend time with. They love spending time with their large extended families throughout the year.
Silas is the newest financial advisor on our team and has been enjoying meeting and working with all of our clients. He is a lifetime resident of Lewis County, although he spent two years in Morocco teaching. He enjoys traveling and has also spent time in Spain, Mexico, Japan, and Alaska.
Silas and his wife, Stephanie, have been married since 2016 and have three fabulous children, Tyrel, Emma, and Tucker. They are expecting their fourth bundle of joy, baby Elena, in July. The kids bring joy and laughter to their family and Silas enjoys the adventures they go on together. Silas comes from a family of 10 kids, and family has always been very important to him.
Outside of home and work, Silas is the head Taekwondo instructor at Centralia College. He volunteers his time to teach self-defense classes on occasion as well. Silas enjoys learning languages and is comfortable in conversational Spanish and knows some Arabic as well.
Trina has worked in the financial industry for more than 20 years. Previously she worked in administrative roles at both Morgan Stanley and Edward Jones before coming to work at Trout Wealth Management. Trina diligently assists clients through numerous areas of their financial landscape, and she truly enjoys building long-lasting relationships with all of the team's clients. We are so happy to add her and her years of experience to our team.
Trina is a Roseburg native and she and her partner raised their children here. Their daughter and two sons are grown and have moved out, but they still have two small dogs – Ollee the mini dachshund, and Bentlee the shih tzu. Trina loves watching all kinds of sports and spends many weekends visiting local breweries and wineries while catching a game. Currently, Trina also sits on the board of directors for Douglas County CASA, which provides valuable volunteer advocacy for abused children.
Having a desire to work in the financial field, Cecile went into banking within three years of beginning her career. She subsequently joined A.G. Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, more than 15 years ago. Cecile enjoys the relationships she has with our team’s clients and takes pride in creating a comfortable and efficient office atmosphere.
Cecile was raised in Seattle and moved to Lewis County while in high school. She and her husband have two sons and after 38 years, their nest is now empty. They also have a precious granddaughter who spends many weekends with them. In her spare time, Cecile loves to quilt and is very active in a local modern quilt guild. She also acts as a contractor’s assistant to her husband, as they are always working on making improvements to their home or her honey-do list.
After spending more than 20 years in customer service, including many years in banking, Amber joined our team in 2018. She loves being able to work with all of our clients and getting to know them. She enjoys watching “Jeopardy!” and all of the singing and dancing competition shows as well. She loves collecting random facts, so feel free to share interesting tidbits with her.
Amber and her husband raised their five boys and opened their home to a handful of bonus kids over the years as well. She spent years coaching youth soccer and loved her time as a football mom, wrestling mom, and soccer mom. Her passion for volunteering and giving back has led her to be an active member of Soroptimist International. Amber also works with United Way on occasion and gives back with other groups as opportunities present themselves. She tries to live her life by John Wesley’s advice: “Do all the good you can, by all the means you can, in all the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times you can, to all the people you can, as long as ever you can.”
Ashlyn is the newest member of our team and we’re so glad to have her. She is currently finishing her degree at Centralia College and plans to have her degree in Applied Management soon. She is looking forward to learning more about all of our clients and continuing to learn about our industry.
Ashlyn grew up in Toledo and was an outstanding student and terrific soccer player. She continues playing soccer recreationally and played one season for Centralia College as well. She loves hiking and spends many of her weekends traveling and hiking her way through the Pacific Northwest with her boyfriend and their smart but sassy dog, Rusty. Rusty is an excellent hiking companion, but sometimes forgets the rules about getting on the furniture. Ashlyn is really close with her family and spends a lot of her time with her many brothers and sisters.
With over 20 years in customer service, including over five years in management, Misty decided to step out of her comfort zone and learn something new. She is excited to get to know and build relationships with our current clients and looks forward to meeting new clients along the way. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have two children together, Kaleb and Jasmine.
Misty was raised in Hawaii, in a small town on the Leeward side of Oahu called Ewa Beach. She has resided in Oregon for six years. Outside of work she loves to cook and bake and dreams of owning her own restaurant/bakery in the future. She really enjoys going on road trips with her husband and kids. Seeing new places outside of Hawaii is one of her favorite things to do. Living in Oregon, she has developed a love for the outdoors and really enjoys finding a great hiking and fishing spots.
