Katrina began her career in financial services in 1998 with Wells Fargo Advisors and its predecessor firms. She was named as a member of the Platinum Council (previously known as Premier Advisor1) from 2018 – 2023. Katrina was recognized by Forbes2 as a Top Women Wealth Advisor from 2020 – 2021, and a Top Women Wealth Advisor – Best-in-State from 2022 – 2024. In addition, she was recognized by Working Mothers/SHOOK Research3 as a Top Wealth Advisor Mom in 2020 and 2021.
Katrina employs a consultative, holistic approach to wealth management specializing in retirement planning. She truly values building long-term relationships with her clients and being a passionate advocate for their best interest. Enabled by her comprehensive understanding of the investment planning process, Katrina helps her clients develop and implement strategies for building and preserving their wealth. Her mission is to help clients achieve financial security over time, without taking any undue risk.
Katrina attended the State University of New York at Albany, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in finance. In addition to holding her Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations, Katrina is also licensed in insurance in New York and other states. Because she believes that retirement is one of the most significant financial goals to attain, Katrina holds a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) certification. She earned this designation by meeting rigorous professional standards and passing a comprehensive examination from the College for Financial Planning.
As a proud member of her local community, Katrina supports many organizations and annual events to champion causes that are near and dear to her heart. Each year she participates in Albany’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk and Women United’s Perfect Pitch, where she served as a shark for two years. Katrina is a member of the Circle of Red Society and the Executive Leadership Team and Passion Committee for the American Heart Association, supporting the Go Red for Women movement in the Capital Region. Additionally, she serves as Treasurer for the board of Strong Through Every Mile (STEM). STEM is a program that, through the sport of running, empowers survivors of domestic violence. She serves as a board member and Finance Committee Chair of the Teresian House Foundation, the charitable arm of the Teresian House Center for the Elderly. She is also an active member of Women United – a group of energetic, passionate, and philanthropic women, empowered by the United Way of the Greater Capital Region to make a true impact in the community. Lastly, Katrina volunteers in various capacities within her parish community at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul in Albany, including serving as a member of the Stewardship Council and previously as parish co-trustee.
In the past, she served as Treasurer for the Booster Club at the Academy of the Holy Names School and was a member of the planning committee for the Brothers Classic Charity Golf Tournament, supporting the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. In addition, she was also a former member of the All Saints Catholic Academy School Board, where she served as the Finance Chair for three years. Finally, she was a member of Metroland Executives for eight years, and past President of the Board. Metroland Executives was a business resource group that was active in the capital region for 50 years.
Away from the office, Katrina enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends and cheering on the Buffalo Bills as their most devoted fan! Knowing that the balance between her career and personal life is dependent on her health and well-being, Katrina has made a lifelong commitment to being physically active. She currently enjoys high intensity interval training and walking. She was a long-distance runner for 20 years, participating in countless road races of varying distances including finishing five marathons. Katrina is deeply rooted in the Capital Region where she has resided for over 25 years – currently living in Albany with her husband, Jack, and their children, Claudia and Dominic.
