2023 Albany County Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program
The Consiglio Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors participated in the 2023 Albany County Adopt-A-Family Program, adopting one Albany family for the holiday season. The Adopt-A-Family program allows community members to help families in need by providing gifts for children and essential items for the entire family, such as clothing, blankets, appliances and more. In addition, donors may buy new, unwrapped gifts or make monetary donations. We were able to fulfill the wishes of every family member, spreading joy during times of hardship.
2023 Women United Perfect Pitch

The Consiglio Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors supported and attended the 5th Annual Women United’s Perfect Pitch event on December 6, 2023 at Revolution Hall in Troy, New York.Perfect Pitch is a “Shark Tank” style Women United event, powered by the United Way of
the Greater Capital Region, where four local non-profit agencies pitched their innovative idea for a chance at a $10,000 grant.

2023 Heartsgiving Basket

This year the Consiglio Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors had the privilege of putting together a Thanksgiving basket for the Heartsgiving cause. Heartsgiving is a grassroots program out of Latham, NY that provides Thanksgiving meals to many people in our community each year, their goal for 2023 was to serve 205 meals. With the generosity of the community – they exceeded their goal and were able to provide 238 baskets to families in need in our community. The basket includes all the essential food items for a homemade Thanksgiving meal. We are grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this incredible effort by the Heartsgiving to help give back to families in our community during this Thanksgiving holiday.
2023 American Heart Association Go Red for Women Luncheon

The Consiglio Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors is proud to supportthe American Heart Association and the Go Red for Women movement. Katrina, Kristen & Julia, along with several fellow Wells Fargo Advisors’ colleagues, attended the annual luncheon on November 3, 2023 at the Albany Capital Center. Heart disease and stroke are the number one killers of women. The Go Red for Women initiative encourages awareness of heart disease and stroke in women, providing the tools we need to lead a heart healthy life.

2023 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

The Consiglio Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors participated in the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Albany walk on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Washington Park in Albany, NY. Our team celebrated near and far but was together in spirit!
We envision a future where our children no longer live with the threat of breast cancer and where everyone has a fair and just opportunity to prevent, find, treat, and survive this disease. By supporting the Making Strides movement, you help ensure the American Cancer Society can continue fighting for that same vision. 2023 United Way 518 Day!

On May 18th, hundreds of individuals throughout the Capital Region participate in community service projects benefitting nonprofit health and human service agencies. Katrina Consiglio and Kristen Mahan volunteered through Women United in Schenectady NY’s Central Park for Capital Region Menstrual Health to paint two new Period Pantries. As an initiative of Cornell Cooperative Extension, Capital Region Menstrual Health (previously SMHC) works to promote the health and well-being of individuals who menstruate in our area. CRMH works to increase period equity by bringing period products directly into under-resourced communities through a network of established and trusted community-based organizations.The term “period poverty” refers to the lack of access to menstrual products, sanitation facilities, and menstrual education due to financial barriers and/or social stigma. We work to combat this through the installation of Free Period Pantries in areas of high need and through direct distributions of menstrual products to local community organizations serving our under-resourced menstruators.
A Free Period Pantry is an outdoor, weather-proofed box that houses a variety of menstrual products that are free to the community. These pantries are self-serve and accessible 24/7, making them a convenient source of period products in locations familiar to our target populations. There are currently three Free Period Pantries running in Schenectady, and one in Albany. All pantries are strategically located in areas of high need based on census data and input from community members.

2024 National Wear Red Day

The Consiglio Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors participated in the National Wear Red Day on Friday, February 2nd, 2024 to raise awareness about cardiovascular disease and save lives!
Wear Red Day is a national public awareness campaign the first Friday in February urging women, people from all walks of life, businesses, towns, schools, the media, buildings, and landmarks to “go red” to bring attention to the risk of heart disease and stroke. National Wear Red Day and Go Red for Women are why more than 900,000 women have joined the fight.
