Corey Kelva

Corey Kelva is the Executive Director – Branch Complex Director for the Grand Rapids Complex of Wells Fargo Advisors’ Michigan Market. Corey is responsible for supporting nearly 75 Financial Advisors and team members in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Portage and St. Joseph branches. His service to Financial Advisors includes coaching, mentorship and advice with actionable steps to help them reach their practice goals such as asset and revenue growth. Using a variety of communications channels including seminars, conference calls, individual and team meetings as well as classroom or virtual offerings, he helps Financial Advisors tap into robust platforms to meet clients’ financial needs, including products and services that will help Advisors support the unique needs of high and ultra high net worth clients. With a goal of growing the branches under his direction, Corey is responsible for the recruitment of Financial Advisors who share the firm’s client-first philosophy. Prior to rejoining Wells Fargo Advisors as Branch Complex Director in 2024, Corey was Vice President – Preferred Team Manager at Fifth Third Securities. He began his wealth management career at the Wells Fargo Advisors home office in 2014, and has 10 years of leadership, coaching, mentoring and direct management experience. He holds the FINRA Series 7, Series 66, Series 9, Series 10 and Series 24 registrations. Corey and his husband, Lucas, are the parents of twins. He resides in Grand Rapids, where he enjoys spending time with his family, which includes several pets. His interests include cycling, gardening and cooking. The family has a cabin on an inland lake outside of Traverse City.
