financial needs of her clients through the Wells Fargo Advisors office in Boston.
Cristen focuses on investment management for individuals and
businesses, asset allocation, and risk averse investing.
Of her business today, Cristen says, “The first thing I do with clients is help them
identify their short and long-term financial goals. Then, we develop a
complete investment plan, with investments that are appropriate for their
objectives and their own personal feelings about money and financial security. As
Cristen notes, the best investment plan should be both effective and comfortable.
Cristen earned her B.S. in finance from Providence College and an M.B.A. from
Bentley University. She is securities registered, insurance licensed, and earned
the designation of Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor, CRPC. Cristen is
also named one of Wells Fargo Advisors’ Platinum Council Advisors (2013-2014,
2022-2023). The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from the previous year, and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structure. Cristen is also a 14-year Five Star Wealth Manager award winner[i] seen in Boston Magazine, Fortune, and Wall Street Journal, 2025 Forbes Top Women Wealth Advisors[ii], & 2020 Working Mother’s Top Wealth Advisor Moms[iii].
Cristen often speaks about investing at organizations, universities, investment clubs, and on the radio.

Cristen serves on the Advisory Board of
the Boston Chamber of Commerce, and is
a volunteer with the Executive Golf
Association. She is the past President of
the North Shore Women in Business.

Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by FSP, the wealth manager has not; A. Been subject to a regulatory action that resulted in a license being suspended or revoked, or payment of a fine; B. Had more than a total of three settled or pending complaints filed against them and/or a total of five settled, pending, dismissed or denied complaints with any regulatory authority or FSP’s consumer complaint process. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. FSP does not evaluate quality of services provided to clients. The award is not indicative of the wealth manager’s future performance. Wealth managers may or may not use discretion in their practice and therefore may not manage their clients’ assets.
