She is extremely detail-oriented and develops personalized strategies tailored to each client’s goals. Emily’s philosophy is client-centric, and she believes relationships are paramount.

What makes her knowledgeable
A third-generation financial advisor, her professional career began as a public servant with six years as an attorney (no longer practicing) in Washington, D.C. at the United States Department of Education specializing in federal student aid and student lending. In 2020, Emily followed her passion of helping others achieve their goals and transitioned into a financial advisor role with Wells Fargo Advisors. She is skilled at looking at facts, thinking critically and developing creative solutions. Emily is a life-long learner. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her juris doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law where she graduated cum laude. Emily was recently featured as a guest on the Barron’s Advisor podcast to discuss her career transition and experience as a ‘Next-Gen’ advisor.

Getting to know Emily
Emily, a Charlotte native, shares her home with her beloved French bulldog, Ruth. Passionate about giving back, she serves on the development committee for the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra (CSO). She enjoys spending time with friends—especially her fellow Frenchie owners, a close-knit group affectionately known as the “bully moms.” Emily loves traveling, playing tennis, and attending country music concerts, and she’s recently joined the pickleball craze.
