King has been helping individuals and institutions build and manage wealth for 47 years. With his 47 years of experience and client comes first approach, King is now working on a third generation of clients, helping accumulate wealth for retirement and other family events. King began his career as a financial consultant with First Albany Corporation from 1976-2000 and managed the Pittsfield office from 1984 to 2000. King served as Senior Vice President of Wachovia Securities Private Client Group from August 2000 to 2005 after the purchase of First Albany by First Union, and ultimately the buyout by Wachovia Securities. In September 2005, he formed an independent practice called Francis Investment Consulting Group, Inc. under Wachovia Securities Financial Network. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Francis Investment Consulting Group, Inc. under Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, which had taken over Wachovia Securities Financial Network.

King is an eighth generation native of Pittsfield MA and has been in practice in Pittsfield for the duration of his career. Being very civic minded, he is a member or has been a past member of the following committees: Pittsfield Cemetery (Finance and Investments), Berkshire Place (Finance and Investments), Berkshire Health Systems (Community Development, Executive Committee and Finance & Investment Committees) and past member of South Mountain Music Association (Investments). He is currently President of the Pittsfield Cemetery and in prior years he served as President of the Pittsfield YMCA (1986-1988) and past President of the Exchange Club of Pittsfield. He has also served as a Board Member of the Salvation Army, South Mountain Music Association, Berkshire Theatre Group (Colonial Theatre) and Berkshire Place. He also served as a Trustee of the Berkshire Health Systems for 11 years.

King has a BS in Economics from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. King and his spouse Deborah reside in Pittsfield and have three children and eight grandchildren.

With a focus on prudent asset allocation and risk management, Shaun works with corporate and private clients to help them realize their financial goals. Shaun began his career with PaineWebber in Newport Beach, CA in 1998. Upon the birth of their first child in 2001, Shaun and his spouse Sonya decided to relocate to the Berkshires to raise their children. Shaun was a financial consultant with A.G. Edwards & Sons. Inc. in Pittsfield from 2001 to 2007. In February 2007, Shaun joined Francis Investment Consulting Group, Inc. as First Vice President- Investments.

Shaun serves on the Board of Directors at The Boys and Girls Club of The Berkshires where he chairs the Investment Committee. Additionally, Shaun chairs the Investment Committee for Berkshire Place and is an active member of the Rotary Club of Pittsfield.  

He is a native of the Berkshires and has a BS with a concentration in Finance from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. Shaun holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and is licensed to sell insurance and annuities in MA. Shaun currently resides in Pittsfield with his wife Sonya and their two children.

Kelly joined Francis Investment Consulting Group, Inc. in December 2020. She has a background in sales and client management, having worked for SoCo Creamery and Talmi Entertainment in the Berkshires for the previous 5 years. She has a BA from Johns Hopkins University in Psychology and Earth and Planetary Sciences and was a 4 year Varsity Soccer Player. 

She is responsible for all of the operational aspects of the business including but not limited to client support, money transfers, check requests, auditing of trades and deposits. Kelly also holds her Series 7 and Series 66 Securities Registrations.

In Kelly’s free time, she can be found playing in local soccer leagues, snowboarding, running or reading. Kelly resides in Pittsfield with her husband Patrick and their two dogs.
