I have enjoyed a long and gratifying career in finance beginning in 1993 to the present. I am part of the Galpert/Cisneros Group established in 1996 and we assist in managing wealth and financial affairs for business executives, individuals and their families across the country. Throughout my career, I’ve held positions in most of the major investment firms in Santa Fe and was recruited in 2002 to open the Santa Fe Branch of Wachovia Securities (which became Wells Fargo Advisors). Since 2002 I have been recognized as a Premier Advisor, distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by completion of educational components, business production and professionalism.
I was born and raised in Santa Fe and am an active and passionate volunteer in my community where I’ve served numerous organizations over the years. In 2018, I was appointed by the Governor to serve on the Board of Regents for the Museum of New Mexico and this appointment has further solidified my appreciation for the many important museums, historic sites, cultures and communities of New Mexico. I’ve truly enjoyed the newfound knowledge, education and insider perspectives that have come with my role on the Board.
In 2017, I was voted a member of the NM Women’s Forum, a sub-chapter of the International Women’s Forum. IWF is comprised of 5,000 women leaders in 23 countries around the world with a mission to build better global leadership, as well as promote collaboration, networking and diverse industry education amongst women business professionals. I was elected to serve as a Board Member in 2020 and am past Co-Chair of Programs for the NM Chapter.
I am past Chairwoman of the Board for the Santa Fe Community Foundation, an organization founded in 1981, serving communities in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico as a resource for philanthropists who want to be impactful with their giving. I’ve been a Board Member since 2008, and have since served on the Executive, Finance, Governance, Nominations and Development Committees.
I am a Founding Member and Past President of the Santa Fe Hestia Fund, a Women’s Giving Circle focused on improving graduation rates in Santa Fe Schools. In 2018, the Hestia Fund celebrated its Ten Year Anniversary.
I served as a Board Member for the Spanish Colonial Arts Society during its capital campaign to raise money for the opening of the Museum of Spanish Colonial Arts, where I also served on their Finance/Investment and Development Committees. I also served on the Board of the NM Centennial Foundation, and have been both a Circles Member and Business Council Member for the Museum of NM Foundation, and am also a Member of the SF Chamber of Commerce.
My husband Fred Cisneros and I have three children, Ferbie, Jade and Amanda.
