My Background
For 36 years I have been managing and advising wealth for individuals, families, corporations, and institutions throughout the US.
I studied Economics and International Finance at the University of Dallas, and then began my career with Merrill Lynch. I have worked with Oppenheimer & Co., Alex Brown and Sons, Smith Barney, and PaineWebber, and was asked to open the Santa Fe office for Wachovia Securities. Wells Fargo Advisors then acquired Wachovia. My business colleague Suzanne Ortega Cisneros, Senior Vice President – Investment Officer and I have enjoyed 25 years of working together.
My Family
I live in Scottsdale, AZ with my wife Heather. I have two sons, Matthew and Evan. Matthew is a successful advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors in Dallas and along with his doctor wife Jennifer, has given me four beautiful grandchildren. Evan is a realtor here in Santa Fe and when time permits, he does stand-up comedy, acting, and voice over work.
My Interests
I have enjoyed serving on boards and investment committees including The Museum of NM Foundation, The Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Kitchen Angels, and Santa Fe Council on Intl Relations. My wife and I enjoy bridge, chess, and tennis as well as skiing, cooking, and playing guitar.
