Background and Experience
Allison began her career as an Investment Consultant in 1993 with Banc of America Investment Services, in Washington, DC, where she developed her fundamental investment knowledge. She joined Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2008 to take a team approach in providing personalized financial advice for individuals and families. In 1996, Allison earned the AAMS certification by completing an approved educational program and passing a rigorous examination.
Prior to entering into the Financial Services profession, Allison graduated from Boston College with a degree in communications. Following that, Allison graduated from Suffolk University Law School, and became a member of the Massachusetts Bar. She currently does not practice law, as Wells Fargo Advisors is not a tax or legal advisor. Allison moved to the DC area in 1992.
Away from the office
Away from the office, Allison spends her free time with her husband and 3 children. They love to travel together, and have been to Central and South America as well as several countries in Europe, including Iceland. Community Service is an important to Allison as well. She is involved with several local charities and currently serves on the board of the VHC Health Foundation.
