What are Exchange Traded Funds (ETF's) and why do you invest in them?
Exchange-Traded products (ETPs) at their core are securities which derive their value from a basket of securities such as stocks, bonds, or commodities, and are generally structured to replicate an index. They are traded similar to individual stocks on an exchange. This allows us to highlight specific sectors of the economy that seem poised for success, without stock-specific risk. The market, however, is not a static entity and as conditions in the markets or economy change, we can tactically adjust your portfolio. ETFs allow us to easily make these adjustments for you without excessive, complicated, and potentially costly transactions.
How are your advisory fees calculated?
For actively managed portfolios, advisory fees are assessed on a quarterly basis. There are no additional transaction or commission fees.
Isn't personal investment planning just for the very wealthy?
Not anymore. Our goal is to always deliver a personalized investment strategy for all our clients.
I prefer to self-direct my investments, how can you help me?
While most of our clients prefer a well-diversified, actively managed portfolio, we can certainly accommodate those clients that prefer to self-direct their portfolio or maintain legacy positions. In any case, our team can help provide investment advice and research as well as execute trades.
How will I know how my investments are performing?
Monthly statements and quarterly review meetings.
I just left my job, can I roll over my 401(k)?
Yes, this is one of our key investment opportunities for our clients, but there are other options which may better suit your needs. We should meet to discuss which path works best for you and your 401(k).
