For over 40 years I have had the privilege of being a trusted advisor to numerous families and institutions primarily in the Ashtabula area.
My focus has always been clients first and to treat people the way that I would want to be treated. So, I first begin by listening – listening to client’s concerns, sensitivities, and goals, and understanding their family’s relationships and ambitions. The scope of our advice does not begin and end with investments but includes advice on Social Security, risk management, long term care, and effective estate planning strategies. We employ a discriminating investment style applying primarily outside and independent research. Wealth and its creation are a by-product of many years of labor which I take very seriously and building it can be just as much about not losing it as getting sufficient return on it. We make it a point to focus on both.
I am a graduate of the Indiana University and hold the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional in addition to being an active member of the Investments & Wealth Institute. As the founding associate of Huffman-Mayer Wealth Management Group of Wells Fargo Advisors, I have particularly enjoyed working with exemplary staff who all share our mission to serve our clients with excellence. I have been awarded Platinum Council status by my firm every year since 2009.
My charitable interests and involvement are numerous, but I particularly enjoy my church and the fellowship surrounding my community and am a past president of Kiwanis and the Ashtabula Chamber of Commerce.
More than anything else. I am most proud to be the father of eight children who have matured into their own right to be productive, useful citizens in our great country with spouses who are every bit as delightful. My fourteen grandchildren are also a great sense of pride and joy. When not pursuing family events I enjoy travel, hiking, and refereeing basketball games.
Whether our clients are in the accumulation, preservation, or distribution phase of their financial lives, everyone here at Huffman-Mayer Wealth Management Group takes great pride in holding to a client centric model. Our combined staff boasts almost 200 years of experience in financial services who consistently deliver professional and caring expertise. If you are not already enjoying our group, I sincerely hope you will.
