Hello there. James Mayer. Quick Sunday night thought. We work with a lot of clients to plan out their ideal retirement. Now we get to talk about fun things like second homes and vacations, traveling, paying for weddings, and being generous to charities and foundations that are important to them, and sometimes it always works out just perfect.

Sometimes the money that we've saved allows us flexibility in other areas. Our health is not promised to any of us, and I've had the pleasure of working with a number of clients who have done very well and have been able to take those trips and travel and do amazing things. And sometimes, unfortunately, something happens to one of their spouses.

Someone becomes ill or somebody becomes incapacitated or the retirement of our dream’s changes. And what I found is sometimes the human spirit is just absolutely amazing.

I've been blessed to see people I've known for years who had wonderfully comfortable lifestyles that required them to change direction. And instead of traveling and doing all of these exciting adventures, their new adventure becomes helping their significant other, doing whatever they can, changing their plans, and it's hard to see these plans change, but It's wonderfully amazing to see someone adapt and make a challenging situation as good as it possibly could be. I'm proud of the clients I've seen do this, and it gives me hope that if I was ever in that situation. I could do the same.

We plan for the dream retirement. We also plan so that we have options in case anything doesn't go exactly how we want it. So quick thought. Hope you have a great week. Thank you.
