People avoid the doctor's office for numerous reasons.

 

RYAN: I don’t have insurance, and it's too expensive.

JAMES: I don't trust a doctor

PHIL: Their job is to find something wrong with me.

MARGIE: I don’t have enough time.

RACHEL: I don't want to know what's wrong with me.

DONNA: I don't want to be poked with a needle.

Someone: I have whitecoat syndrome; it makes me nervous

 

What are the benefits of having regular visits to the doctor?

We make sure nothing is wrong with us.

If something is wrong, we can make changes to improve the situation.

When something is wrong, treatment and medication can prevent the situation from getting worse and

make things better.

 

The same can be said about meeting with a financial advisor.

 

People avoid the financial advisors office for many reasons as well.

 

I don’t have enough money.

It's too expensive.

I don’t have enough time.

I am not ever going to retire.

They don’t care about me.

 

None of those are true.
