Hello this is James Mayer, with a Sunday Night Thought. Today is kind of a reflection moment for me. I remember 28 29 years ago when I first in the industry, one of the managers I had had a presentation he used to give at a local bank and it went something like this. “You’re watching the news and stocks surge. Next day you’re watching the news stocks plunge. Next day stocks surge. Stocks plunge. Stocks surge. Stocks plunge.” You know he says, “If that’s an elevator, I’m probably not getting on.” So, I am reminded of this presentation he used to give because it always made me smile, but the thought of it is. If you are watching the news daily, the stock market goes up, the stock market goes down. And it can be extremely emotional. The most and best important advice I can give you is have a plan, work with a financial advisor and have a process for reviewing this. So I you want to stay off that merry-go-round of being excited about the latest news report, that’s up to you. Our strategy is build a plan for retirement and have a process. Have a great Sunday evening we will talk to you soon. Have a great summer.
