Hi there. This is James Mayer, Sunday Night Thoughts. This one actually happened to me this weekend, driving around with my daughter and had to take her shopping. Get to the parking lot, and I remembered something I needed to do on work On Monday, I immediately talked to text, send myself a message to remind myself to do this on Monday, she's like, dad, what are you doing? I said, well, I'm sending myself a reminder for something to do on Monday. She said, so you're texting your future self.
I wish I was making this up. It was perfect. So what's the point of planning for the future? It's to make sure things go the way you want. Life's not always going to go as we plan, but building a plan for your retirement is a way to keep it as close to on track as possible. So, quick thought from the mall parking lot, uh, about to go in and buy things. I don't want to for my kid because she did what she was supposed to. So, have a great week and we'll talk to you soon.
