Hugo M. Rocha
Financial Advisor
With more than 25 years of experience, Hugo is dedicated to helping individuals meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance. His extensive experience - through major shifts in the markets - enables him to help clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial needs. It takes more than a single planning session to put your wealth to work in support of your life goals; it takes a process. As your life circumstances change, so must the investment strategies used to keep you on course toward your objectives.
Hugo began his financial services career in 1998 as a financial advisor with an investment firm on Wall Street after graduating from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He also served clients for two years with Merrill Lynch’s Private Client Group before moving his financial practice to the Bucks County region with Wells Fargo Advisors in 2003.
Hugo is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional. He sought this designation, which is above and beyond what is required in the industry, because he felt it was critical to becoming an even better planner for Wells Fargo Advisor clients. CFP® professionals have completed extensive training and experience requirements before earning their certificate and are held to rigorous ethical standards. He also holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, and life, health, and long-term care insurance licenses.
Given his commitment to helping the community prosper and his passion for history, Hugo has been an active volunteer and board member for more than 15 years with Pennsbury Manor, the museum and reconstructed summer home of William Penn. Hugo lives in Center City Philadelphia with his wife Heather, where they enjoy art and racquet club related activities.
