Prior to establishing the Investment Consulting Group, Chris was a Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. He earned a BA in Finance from the Seidman College of Business at Grand Valley State University and an Associate of Arts from Northwestern Michigan College. He also holds the Series 7, 24, and 66 (includes Series 65 and 63) registrations.
Chris and his wife, Stacey, live in Birmingham, MI, with their son Ethan and daughter Ellie. Stacey is actively involved with the children’s schooling and has a love for interior design and real estate. Ellie is a free spirit who enjoys gymnastics, acting, tennis, softball, and most of all animals (especially the family's dog, Fisher). Ethan is an old soul who enjoys his athletics and the statistics behind them. In fact, if you want to know any stat on any player in most sports, Ethan has your answer. He plays travel baseball, flag football, and tennis. The DeWolfes enjoy family vacations, family get-togethers (including trips to Grand Rapids), baseball/softball season, and trips to the beach. They are members of the Birmingham Athletic Club, as well as supporters of the Make-A-Wish foundation and those that battle Multiple Sclerosis.

Jason Franklin is a Managing Partner and co-founder of The Investment Consulting Group. He has more than 20 years of experience as a Financial Advisor. Jason and his wife, Amy, have been married for more than 25 years. They have a son, Clayton, at the University of Tennessee Haslem College of Business, and two young daughters, Caroline and Charlotte. The family also has two dogs, Savy and Skye, a Cavachon and Cavapoo, respectively. Away from the office Jason enjoys golf, running, and biking. He supports many local and national charities, including a children’s outreach program managed by his father, who is a retired minister.

A member of the team since 2004, Judd has extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, and he has dedicated his career to delivering the personalized investment planning services he believes his clients deserve.

Mark Ivanovic is a Financial Advisor at The Investment Consulting Group and has more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. He is committed to providing his clients with personalized, goals-based guidance that reflects their investment time horizon, risk tolerance, and objectives. He works with his clients to develop custom-tailored portfolios to meet their priorities throughout each of life’s major stages – accumulation, distribution, and legacy.
Mark offers specialized expertise in developing long-term asset allocation strategies to minimize risk and maximize potential return, as well as retirement accumulation and income planning, 529 education funding solutions, multigenerational planning, corporate executive services, and inherited IRA and distribution planning.
His multigenerational investment planning approach allows him to build relationships with clients' families to help them understand the challenges of investment planning and properly managing inherited wealth. Family members get the clarity, confidence, and advice necessary to plan for the responsible stewardship of their family’s wealth over generations.
Mark graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor’s degree in business and communications, and he holds both the Series 7 and 66 registrations.
Mark lives in Clawson, MI, with his wife, Krista, and their daughters, Gracie and Brooklyn. His girls are actively involved in soccer, basketball, tennis, and gymnastics, and they are planning to take golf lessons as well. The Ivanovics enjoy going on annual vacations and planning family get-togethers, and they are avid ice cream enthusiasts who go on frequent early evening walks to their local ice cream shop after dinner.
Spencer Schmale is a Financial Advisor at The Investment Consulting Group, and he is dedicated to providing his clients with personalized, goals-based investment planning and guidance for the many different facets of their financial life.
With nearly 10 years of financial services experience, Spencer utilizes a combination of wealth management strategies designed for capital preservation (defensive) and potential wealth creation (offensive). His investment approach employs custom-tailored, actively managed stock and bond portfolios to help clients build, protect, and transition wealth. He has distinguished himself by employing a highly disciplined strategy that adapts to changing markets.

Away from the office, Spencer enjoys curling at the Detroit Curling Club and golfing. He also appreciates music of all types, loves cooking, and spends time learning about different languages and cultures around the world.

As an Administrative Assistant at The Investment Consulting Group, Kristin provides a wide range of client services, including administrative and operational support such as check requests, document processing, and account maintenance. She also processes retirement plan distributions. With more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry, she takes a holistic approach to each client’s individual needs and believes in building caring relationships based on trust and integrity.
Kristin holds two degrees from Oakland Community College. Away from the office, she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors in nature.
Christine Huebner is the go-to person at The Investment Consulting Group for dealing with multiple facets of the team’s operations and client relationships. This includes sales, support, administrative duties, management, compliance, IT, and marketing duties. She also books appointments for portfolio reviews and assists with statements and accounts. Christie is detail-oriented and possesses a deep commitment to client service, making her an invaluable member of the team.
She holds of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Oakland University. Away from the office, Christie enjoys boating, surfing, spending time near the water, and spoiling her beagle mix, Milo. She also grew up playing ice hockey and is now an avid Detroit Red Wings fan.
