With over 38 years in the Financial Services Industry, Dennis O’Connor, Registered Principal and Senior Financial Advisor, has built his financial services practice on a foundation of integrity along with a commitment to superior service through attention to each client’s needs. He has the knowledge and experience to assist individuals, business owners and retirees with their financial needs and concerns. By combining the strength and resources of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network together with his experience, Dennis continues to work with individuals seeking to navigate through the ever- changing financial landscape. Through Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, he has achieved the designation of Senior PIM Portfolio Manager and holds the title of Senior Financial Advisor. In April 2015, Dennis also earned and was awarded the Retirement Income Certified Professional® designation through the American College of Financial Services following successful completion of advanced studies. Dennis has also been selected to the 2017 and 2018 Platinum Council Advisor. The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from previous year, and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structures.
During 2021 Dennis completed his Registered Principal exam and became Branch Manager. In 2021, Investment Strategies Group merged with Bridgehaven Financial Advisors, also a Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network practice.
Demonstrating his commitment to helping clients make well-informed decisions, he continues to take an active role in expanding his knowledge and investment services capabilities through asset management strategies, analysis and performance management courses.
Dennis also believes a balanced life is the essence of happiness. As such, he is dedicated to helping communities be a better place to live and work. He has been an active volunteer since 1999, donating time for one week charity projects to the Appalachian Mountains in Preston County West Virginia (1999-2010), New Orleans, LA (2005-2008) assisting victims of Hurricane Katrina and to the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana in 2016.
Dennis resides in Whippany, NJ with his wife Pam. They have 3 grown children.
