John D. Fromularo, CFP®

I truly enjoy the investment-planning process and being involved in my clients' goals and decision making. I have spent over 24 years as a financial advisor working to help my clients grow their assets and transition to providing lifetime income to meet their current and future income needs while also addressing their legacy-planning goals. As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, I fully embrace the FPA™ Code of Ethics and Standards of Care with my clients. The core competency of my business is retirement planning, utilizing the latest information and software tools available to me to help clients navigate the complex rules of Social Security, Medicare and the IRS regulations* regarding their retirement savings and income. I strive to grow my clients' assets in an intelligent way and work with them to understand their needs in my planning and investing for them.
I am insurance licensed for life, health, long-term care, fixed and variable annuities. I hold the following securities registrations: Series 6, 7, 26, 31, 63 and 65.
My academic and work background includes: I am a graduate of Lehman College and City University of New York with a BA in Education and History. I have a Master of Arts degree from Webster University, St. Louis, Mo., in Management and Business. I am a retired Marine Corps officer with over 2000 hours flying in the F4 Phantom as well as many other assignments and responsibilities during my 20 years of active duty. I began my career as an investment advisor in January 1996. In addition to maintaining my CFP® professional certification and securities and insurance licenses, I have completed numerous training programs provided through the professional development branch of this company. This training includes updates on tax and estate-planning issues, retirement income, alternative investments, equities, insurance and variable annuities.
I reside at Pensacola Beach, Fl., and have two daughters. I am a past president of the FPA™ chapter of the Gulf Coast states and past president and active member of Gulf Breeze Sertoma. I am also active in the Marine Corps Aviation Association and a member of the Pensacola and Gulf Breeze Chambers of Commerce. I am a mentor with Take Stock in Children in Escambia County.
Compensation: I receive compensation through fee only, fee and commission or commission only methods. After reviewing your current needs and ongoing service needs, we can discuss which method of compensation is best suited for you.
Miscellaneous: To maintain my certification as a CFP® professional, CFP® certificants are required to complete 30 hours of continuing education each reporting period: three hours from a CFP® Board-approved program on CFP® Board's Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility and the Financial Planning practice standards. In addition, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, I agree to abide by the CFP® Board ethical standards. These standards meet and exceed the standards that are being put in place by the new Financial Reform bill passed in 2010.
