We all know a goal without a plan is just a dream. Your finances are too important to be left to chance. Dan works with his clients to craft a custom plan based on your goals and objectives. This plan becomes the framework for all of the decisions you will make together during your financial journey.
He began his career as a financial advisor more than 27 years ago. In 2004, Dan earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM certification (CFP®). The CFP® certification identifies those individuals who have met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the CFP Board and have successfully completed coursework on financial topics in the following areas: general principles of financial strategies, insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning, and retirement and estate planning strategies. CFP® certificants also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements. Dan earned a bachelor of science in business and economics from Randolph Macon College. He has been named a Premier Advisor consecutively from 2015 - 2021, a distinction held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured completion of educational components, business production based on either of the past two years, and professionalism. Additional criteria, including length of service, may also be used to determine recipients.
Dan and his wife, Lisa reside in Roanoke. Together they have two children Sidney and Jack. They like to stay active, working out together, enjoying outdoor activities and travelling.
In his spare time Dan enjoys golfing. Each year he and his friends plan an annual golf destination, these trips have taken them to Ireland, Florida, Arizona, Wisconsin, to name a few.
