Jamie Waldren is a Managing Director – Investments at Wells Fargo Advisors. He focuses on providing wealth management solutions for affluent individuals, family offices, and professionals like accountants and attorneys. Together with his team, he helps his clients address five of their biggest concerns: preserving their wealth, taking care of heirs, mitigating taxes, ensuring their assets are not unjustly taken and charitable giving.
Jamie began career in financial services in 1992 and now serves clients who have entrusted him with more than $130 million in assets. He uses a thoughtful consultative discovery process to help gain a detailed understanding of his clients’ deepest values and goals. He then employs customized recommendations designed to address each client’s unique needs and goals beyond simply investments.

Previously, Jamie spent eighteen years with Legg Mason as a financial Advisor. Jamie is a widely recognized leader in the Washington DC area financial advisor community. He has written two articles on ESOPs published in the Washington Technology Magazine. In addition, he has written several articles on succession planning and has spoken to various groups on retirement planning and business succession planning. He is an active member of the ESOP National Association, and the National Center of Employee Ownership NCEO. Finally, for the last 5 years, Jamie has served as the chair of the Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation investment committee.
