Finding the Right Financial Advisor

My name is Jamie Waldren and I am Managing Director – Investments with Wells Fargo Advisors in Columbia Maryland. I’ve been a financial advisor for 29 years.

Finding the right financial advisor for you and your family with whom to build a long-term trusted relationship is a major life decision. As life and the markets change over time, you need a Financial Advisor that helps you know exactly where you stand – now, tomorrow, and in the years to come. During this video I would like to give you some insights into what we cover during an initial consultation to help provide clarity, alleviate concerns, and help manage expectations.

Our first meeting is a time to get to know one another. It’s an open conversation that is free from any pressures or expectations – it’s basically a time to explore we can be successful to helping you achieve what’s most important to you. There are two main questions we aim to answer:

1.       Can we add value to your financial situation?

2.       Can we have a good working relationship?

We’ll discuss your short and long term goals, current investments, risk profile, prior experiences, and concerns. If you own a business and thinking about succession we’ll discuss how this fits into your overall financial future.

We will take you through our wealth management process, including our onboarding process, communications, risk assessment, investment philosophy, etc., which will help you understand our process to evaluate your financial goals.

Our goal is for you to be completely comfortable during this meeting. Here’s what we won’t do: use a ton of financial jargon, forget to listen, and treat you like a number, etc.

We are here to help you create that amazing life of significance so you can take of your love ones, support the causes you care about and make a difference in the world. Your family an d loved ones are counting on you.

So if you’re ready to schedule that initial meeting to discuss your personal situation, let’s get something on the calendar, and give me a call.  We look forward to speaking with you.
