James E. Pyles, CFP, RICP

As a financial advisor with over 20 years of experience, James brings a wealth of knowledge to assist his clients during all phases of their financial journeys. This includes planning for retirement, effectively generating income during retirement among other goals, and eventually passing on assets to loved ones.

In order to provide the highest level of service, James earned both his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification as well as the Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) designation.

James has a technical background having earned his Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University (Go Boilers!). He employs these technical skills in developing customized plans and portfolios for his clients.

James and his wife Barb, a children’s book author, have lived in Whatcom County, WA since 1996. Their two children both graduated from Whitman College in Walla Walla. James and Barb enjoy the theater, sports of all kinds, bookstores, and their hobby farm.

Ashley joined Wells Fargo Advisors in April of 2022. Originally from the Bay Area in California she relocated to Washington State after completing her college education. She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Illustration from California State University Long Beach and three Associate of Art degrees in History, Studio Art, and Illustration.

Like with her education, Ashley is detail oriented and translates that into her role as a Client Associate. With a focus on excellence, she takes pride in assisting James to provide a high level of service for his clients. She looks forward to furthering her education in the finance industry so as to be of even greater assistance.

In her copious free time Ashley likes to work with her hands by spinning yarn, knitting, and tinkering with the PC she built in 2020.
