Jeffrey Crampton’s three decades of financial services experience began on Wall Street, where he worked in corporate finance, real estate, and alternative energy project finance. Jeff also consulted to financial services and life sciences companies around the world on issues of finance, technology, strategy and product development.

Jeff graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in Economics, and received his MBA with Distinction from INSEAD in France.  Jeff holds FINRA 7 & 66 registrations, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA^®) designation and is also a Certified Financial Planning Practitioner.  Jeff has lived and worked in several European countries and speaks fluent German, Spanish, and French.

A lifelong athlete (including varsity football at Yale), Jeff has coached championship youth baseball and football teams and stays fit by cycling, hiking, and working on his small farm.  Jeff has also served as a Financial Education Instructor for the Boston ABCD Financial Futures Initiative and as a leader of the Cross Border Planning Knowledge Circle for the Financial Planning Association. 

Jeff lives in Chappaqua with his wife Dr Laurie Hess, who is an exotic animal veterinarian and the author of “Unlikely Companions: The Adventures of an Exotic Animal Doctor.”  Jeff and Laurie enjoy spending weekends at their Bethlehem, CT farm caring for (well, mostly just playing with) their 4 goats, 10 chickens and 2 dogs and spending time with their children.
