Background and experience

Joanna seeks first to understand her clients’ current situation, concerns, risk tolerance, and their financial priorities. She then uses this information to formulate an investment strategy and begins the development of a comprehensive investment plan. This plan is reviewed on a regular basis and as her clients’ life circumstances change, the appropriate adjustments are made.

Joanna began her career as a Financial Advisor with Smith Barney in Miami, Florida where she developed her fundamental investment knowledge. In 1990, she joined Prudential Bache Securities, which through a series of mergers, is now Wells Fargo Advisors.

Joanna was awarded the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certification in 1994, the Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) certification in 2003, and the Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor^SM certification in 2010 - all by completing approved educational programs, passing the rigorous examinations, and meeting stringent experience requirements.

Away from the office

Joanna and her husband, have been married for over 20 years. They have one child and a grandchild. They like to stay active both physically and mentally, whether it’s playing with their two dogs, going to the beach, or taking walks. They have visited Africa, South America and many European countries.

Candice’s primary responsibility is to maintain a professional and organized environment that allows Joanna to devote her full attention to clients and their investment planning. With more than fifteen years of client experience, she maintains the same registrations and licenses as Joanna. Candice is responsible for engaging the clients to help uncover their potential needs, assist in gathering the necessary information and helps by collaborating to evaluate opportunities. She schedules appointments and handles all incoming calls so that clients receive a high level of personal service. Candice is the first person you should call if you have any questions about your investment planning process, and she will ensure that the appropriate member of the team promptly responds.

With more than 5 years of financial service experience, Lamek helps ensure that clients’ administrative and operational needs are handled accurately and quickly. She oversees the day-to-day administration of accounts, including opening new accounts, updating existing account information, managing account transfers and answering questions regarding statements. She works to resolve even the most complicated issues.
