With nearly 40 years of experience in the financial services industry, Craig Johnson serves as a Managing Director – Investment Officer and Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors. His background in accounting and tax strategy–gained during his 12 years as a Senior Tax Manager at Ernst & Young–provides a solid foundation for the retirement and investment strategies he delivers today.

Since joining Wells Fargo Advisors in 2003, Craig has focused on helping individuals, business owners, and plan sponsors design and implement personalized, goals-based wealth plans. He specializes in retirement plan consulting, fiduciary education and plan provider evaluation, taking a hands-on, client-centered approach to each relationship.

Craig earned his BBA in Accounting from the University of Iowa and holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®), Chartered Retirement Planning Consultant (CRPC®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®),and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®) designations.

In partnership with Jill Greiner, he also supports corporations and nonprofit organizations with financial strategies and employee retirement readiness. Outside of work, Craig helps manage his family’s farm in northwest Iowa and enjoys cheering on the University of Iowa Hawkeyes. He and his wife, Joan, have three children.

Jill Greiner’s passion for financial advising was born from personal experience – learning to navigate financial challenges early in life inspired her to help others build secure and confident financial futures. 

Over 25 years ago, Jill moved to West Des Moines to begin her career as an assistant in a financial advisory office.  Since then, she has advanced through roles in operations and compliance, gaining a deep, well-rounded perspective of the industry.  Today, she serves as a Managing Director – Investment officer at Wells Fargo Advisors, where she combines experience, education and a client-first mindset to deliver personalized, goals-based investment and retirement strategies. 

A lifelong learner, Jill earned her Master of Business Administration from the Henry B. Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa in 2006.  She also holds several respected industry designations, including Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®), Certified Private Wealth Advisor (CPWA®), Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®), and Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®).  Her commitment to ongoing education reflects her dedication to staying at the forefront of the financial services industry. 

Jill takes a hands-on, collaborative approach, partnering with clients to help them plan for the life they envision.  She frequently works with estate planning attorneys, tax professionals, and healthcare specialists to provide holistic financial guidance, including pre-retirement and Medicare planning. 

In collaboration with Craig Johnson, she also supports corporations and foundations with tailored financial strategies and helps employees prepare for successful – and enjoyable – retirements. 

Away from the office, Jill enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially spoiling her nephew and two nieces.  She also loves reading, traveling and lending a hand on her family’s farm in Southeast Iowa.

Zachery Alexander brings a client-first approach to his role as a Financial Consultant with Wells Fargo Advisors. Before joining the team in September of 2024, Zach served as an Investment Advisor Representative with Edelman Financial Engines, where he developed a strong foundation in portfolio management and client education.

Since relocating from Phoenix, Arizona to Iowa in 2022 with his wife, Jessica, and their three golden retrievers, Zach has focused his career on supporting 401k clients through all aspects of retirement planning. His diverse experience and approachable style allow him to build meaningful relationships while helping our 401k clients navigate their financial futures with confidence.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys spending quality time with his wife and their dogs, making the most out of the relaxed pace of life in the Midwest.

Taylor Fuerhoff has been with our team since June 2022.  Taylor is often the first point of contact for clients, bringing warmth, energy and a strong sense of service to every interaction. A graduate of Iowa State University, Taylor began his career at Walt Disney World, where he developed a passion for guest experience and client care.

Now back in Iowa, Taylor proudly continues a family tradition of working with Wells Fargo.  He takes pride in being part of a team that values strong relationships and a supportive, family – like atmosphere. Whether answering a call or assisting with one of the many day-to-day tasks, Taylor strives to make every interaction as seamless and helpful as possible.

Taylor is an avid supporter of the Iowa State Cyclones and enjoys cheering them on every chance he gets. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his husband, Dylan, puppy, Trixie, and connecting with family and friends.

Kara Greiner joined the Wells Fargo Advisors team in September of 2024 as a Client Associate. She is currently completing her bachelor’s degree from the Ivy College of Business at Iowa State University and is set to graduate this fall.

In her role, Kara manages all client scheduling and assists in building personalized eMoney investment plans, helping ensure a smooth and supportive planning experience. She is eager to continue learning and growing within the firm after graduation.

Being Jill’s niece, Kara brings a strong sense of loyalty and familiarity to the team. Outside the office, she enjoys quality time with family and friends, exploring the world around her and working on the family farm.
