Away from the office, I am married, have two daughters and two grandchildren. I enjoy family vacations, spending time outdoors and restoring a vintage 1965 Chevelle.  My commitment to service also carries over to the local community, I served on the board of Manna Food Bank for 14 years and served as board chair twice. Currently, I am the board chair of the Smoky Mountain Toy Run, a nonprofit group that raises toys, books and money for children.

 Away from the office, my wife Kristyn and I are actively involved in the lives of our daughters, Campbell and Tanner, and we enjoy spending time outdoors in beautiful Western North Carolina. We also volunteer our time and are active in various community and school related activities. As a former Golf Professional and class “A” member of the PGA of America, I stay involved in the game.
