Our History & Our Team

Katterhenry Investment Group was founded in 1989, and is as strong as ever with the ability to offer you five advisors “under one roof”. All five of our advisors are fully equipped with Series 7 and 63/65 securities registrations and life insurance licenses. We also have two CFP® professionals, a Registered Principal, two Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM, a Chartered Mutual Fund CounselorsSM, and a Master of Science Degree in Financial Planning within our ranks. It is rare, indeed, to find over a hundred years of combined industry experience and that high level of certification and education within one team. We help clients manage more than $541 million in assets, as of December 2018, with five locations for your convenience. Each of us brings a distinct set of experience and skills to the mix, coming together complimentarily to create an incredibly effective team.

Retirement planning is the heart of our business. We work with multiple generations to facilitate wealth accumulation, retirement income, wealth preservation, and wealth transfer. With unwavering disciplined commitment to our core investment management practices and beliefs, we endeavor to grow client assets during favorable market conditions, as well as preserve their wealth during rough times in the financial markets.

Eric J. Haubert

    • Senior Financial Advisor
    Eric has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Dayton and holds his Series 3, 6, 7, 63, and 66 securities registrations and life insurance licenses. He is a Senior Financial Advisor and a Registered Principal with his Series 24 securities registration. Eric’s work ethic and attention to detail have repeatedly earned him the Wells Fargo Advisors Premier Advisor1 distinction as well as recognition from Forbes in both 2018 and 2019 as a Best-In-State Wealth Advisor2. Eric spends his time serving the team’s elite clientele across the country as well as spearheading the group’s asset allocation and advisory efforts by holding extensive due diligence meetings, interviews, and conference calls with senior management, mutual fund companies, and annuity firms. He also works closely with Wells Fargo Advisors leaders and served on their Licensee Advisory Board of Independent Practices in 2012 and 2013. He feels that his consistent effort and commitment to integrity have been the building blocks for his solid base of clients. Eric is an Eagle Scout who enjoys and supports outdoor activities and programs, and he lives on Indian Lake in Russells Point, OH. Along with his wife Kristen, and their daughters, Maribella and Madeline, Eric is a charitable supporter of the 4Ocean Project, Habitat for Humanity, and Symphony in the Schools.

    Lisa Katterhenry Howe

      • Senior Financial Advisor
      Lisa has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University and holds her Series 7, 31, 63, and 65 securities registrations and life insurance licenses. She is a financial advisor with Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC)SM, Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor (CMFC)SM, Accredited Domestic Partnership Advisor (ADPA), and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner designations. She has also completed her Master of Science degree. Wealth management for high net worth individuals often involves a holistic familial approach. Lisa feels strong family ties and values, along with continuous training and a commitment to providing extraordinary service help her maintain lifelong relationships with multiple generations of client families. The cumulative effect of all of these efforts has earned Lisa a spot on the Forbes’ Best–in-State Wealth Advisor2 list and the Wells Fargo Premier Advisor1 distinction. Lisa spearheads the team’s client outreach initiatives by coordinating educational opportunities and client appreciation events, with a focus on our Premier Client Group. Lisa is active with the United Way, MAV Mentoring, and Colony Cats. She lives in Dublin with her husband, Chuck, and their children, Ethan and Charley Kate.

      Charles B. Clutter

        • Senior Financial Advisor
        Chuck has a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University. He holds his Series 3, 7, 8, 63 and 65 securities registrations, as well as his life insurance license. Chuck formerly worked for a major US brokerage firm as a Branch Manager and Financial Consultant, before moving his practice to the independent channel of Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. Chuck has been in the business for over 30 years and enjoys working with clients on their investment plans and strategies. He lives in Westerville with his wife, Jill. Their son, Jay, received his MBA from the Fisher School of Business at The Ohio State University and currently works for a major regional bank in Columbus.

        Kerri A. Bergman

          • Financial Advisor
          Kerri works from our Troy office location. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Miami University and holds her Series 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations and life insurance licenses. She has Chartered Retirement Planning CounselorSM and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner designations. Prior to joining Katterhenry Investment Group, Kerri worked at a major U.S. brokerage firm for nine years. She takes great pride in working closely with clients to deliver a disciplined process designed to allow the different pieces of their financial life to work together to build and preserve their wealth. She enjoys being active in the community and spending time with family and friends. She lives in Minster with her husband, Dave, and their children, Alayna, Jonathan, and Cameron.

          Darrin Haubert

            • Financial Advisor
            Darrin works from our Bellefontaine office. He holds his Series 7 and 66 securities registrations and life insurance licenses. Darrin graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Business and worked in the telecommunications industry as a Project Manager, prior to joining the Katterhenry Investment Group team. Darrin’s mission is to help clients plan for a financial future in a way that best meet their individual goals. His commitment doesn’t end there, Darrin has been an active member of the local community for several years. He’s currently Chairman of the Board for both Hilliker YMCA and YMCA Camp Willson in Logan County, Board President for the Indian Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, Board Member and Sergeant at Arms for Rotary International in Bellefontaine, an active member of the Urbana chapter of Business Networking International, and a volunteer for Friends Serving Friends at Indian Lake. He enjoys water and snow skiing, boating, golfing, hiking, and hunting. Darrin lives on Indian Lake with his wife Katie, a teacher; their two young sons, Charlie and Andrew; and their Australian Shepherd, Sidney.

            Kasey Massie-Yeagle

              • Chief Operations Officer
              Prior to joining our group in 2007, Kasey spent her days being a mom, her nights being a student, and her weekends parenting, studying, and working. She previously worked in inventory management and office administration. Needless to say, she sold us on her juggling skills (no, not literally!). Shortly after joining our group, Kasey obtained her bachelors of science in accounting degree from Wright State University. Then, she went on to obtain Series 7, 24, and 66 securities registrations; and life, accident, and health insurance licenses. Kasey handles all operations for every office of our practice—from internal management to compliance to client outreach and special projects. Kasey lives in Butler Township, Dayton, with her husband, Steve, and their sons, Kyle and Xavier. With Kyle being a teenager and Xavier being a toddler, Kasey and Steve spend the majority of their spare time with Kyle’s year-round soccer events and chasing after their tot. Kasey does; however, like to travel, dance, and partake in beer tastings, all of which she looks forward to doing more and more of in the future.

              Angie Martin

                • Bellefontaine Client Service Coordinator
                Angie comes to us with many years of experience in customer service and office management, so she is well versed in flexibility and a rapid pace. Angie coordinates all administrative services for our Bellefontaine clients. She takes care of their account openings, transfers, contributions, IRA consolidations, distributions, and changes to beneficiaries, addresses, etc. She makes sure both your deposits and retirement income are accurate and timely. Let Angie know when you experience any life events (including marriage, children, and moves), and she will assist you in changing your account titles and beneficiaries to keep up with your life. Angie resides in Bellefontaine. Outside of work Angie can be found enjoying the many pleasures of Lake Erie or talking on the phone to her son, Chris, who lives in sunny South Carolina.

                Deby Feathers

                  • Troy Client Service Coordinator
                  Deby coordinates client account servicing in our Main Office, located in Troy, Ohio. Deby brings with her many years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. Coupled with her positive attitude, she uses her skills and knowledge to assist in providing superior service to all of our clients and potential clients. She is often the first face you see and first voice you hear! Deby makes sure that when you inform us of life events, which change things for you and your family, we get your accounts updated accordingly. Anything from moving to getting married—that’s her area of expertise. Deby lives in Troy with her great-niece, Kylie, and enjoys the outdoors, reading, and church activities. She is also an animal lover so she can also often be spotted caring for neighborhood strays, as well as all of her own domesticated animals.

                  Jessica Downing

                    • Client Service Associate
                    Jess serves as the Client Service Associate in the Upper Arlington office. She joined Katterhenry Investment Group with a Bachelor’s degree in Family Financial Services from The Ohio State University, and also holds her Series 7 securities registration and her life insurance license. Jess handles all client administrative requests that come through the Upper Arlington office. Jess lives in Columbus and enjoys trying new restaurants and attending live concerts.

                    Leslie Arnold

                      • Troy Asset Flow Coordinator
                      Leslie comes to us with many years of experience in office management within the technology sector, so having to quickly adapt to the environment around her is second-nature. Leslie coordinates all new business and asset flow for our Troy clients. Whether it is an existing client or a brand new relationship, she takes care of account openings, transfers, contributions, IRA consolidations, and distributions. If you are retired and need income from the investments you hold with Katterhenry Investment Group, Leslie will handle your request efficiently. Leslie resides in her home town of Troy with her husband, Patrick. They are constantly entertained by their busy, young children, Gwen and Alex. All four of them avidly enjoy outdoor activities that revolve around water.
