Douglas R. Kahl,  Managing Director - Investment Officer

After graduating from the University of Michigan with a bachelor's degree, Doug was a teacher at East Lansing and Okemos public schools.  He joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 1999 and holds the Accredited Asset Management Specialist (SM) designation.

Using his background in teaching, Doug strives to make his clients both knowledgeable and comfortable in the process of establishing and implementing an individualized investment plan.  He focuses on developing an understanding of each client's personal complex life situation and using that knowledge to create a portfolio that adheres to their needs, dreams and risk tolerances.

Involvement in the community is important to Doug.  He is a former officer of the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council, a current member and past President of the East Lansing Kiwanis Club, a former board member of Haven House in East Lansing and a member of the DeWitt Redeemer United Methodist Church.  Doug is a Board member of the Many Hands Foundation. 

When not working, Doug enjoys playing golf, spending time with family and friends, and traveling.  Doug lives in DeWitt, Michigan with this wife of 24 years, Alison. He especially enjoys supporting his three children in their activities.

Bruce earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Hope College and spent nine years with First American National Securities before joining a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors in 1992.

Bruce holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor(SM) designation and is a member of the Greater Lansing Estate Planning Council. He is past President of both the Haslett-Okemos Rotary Club and the Mason Public School Foundation.  Bruce formerly served on the board of directors of the Mildred B. Erickson Fellowship of Michigan State University.
