Kenneth Helman has served in the financial services industry for nearly 25 years, building long-lasting relationships with clients and helping them gain confidence in their investment planning. He loves meeting new people, learning what matters most to them, and find ways he can help them achieve their goals and dreams.
Ken has always said that nothing matters more to him than family, and he considers his clients an extension of his family. He considers it an honor to have his clients place their trust and confidence in him, he is committed to providing them with only the finest advice and optimum service. Ken and his team provide comprehensive investment planning and manage assets for individuals, trusts, retirement plans, charitable organizations, and businesses. Through a long-term investment approach, Ken helps his clients develop and implement strategies for building wealth and realizing their goals. He specializes in asset management, estate planning strategies, and retirement planning, and feels passionate about leveraging his experience to create plans that help set his clients up for success.
Prior to joining the industry, Ken graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Finance from SUNY Albany.
Ken currently lives in Bergen County, NJ, with his wife, Maria, and their two kids, Alexis and Justin. Ken spends most of his free time coaching youth sports, including football, soccer, baseball, basketball, and softball, the latter of which he has been the Commissioner and Head Coach of for the past seven years.
Nadia Aguiar

With nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry, Nadia Aguiar currently serves in a client support role for the Legacy team. Nadia always knew she wanted a career in which she could help people, and she’s in the perfect place to do so as she works closely with clients on a daily basis.
Whether she is helping parents fund a college savings account or helping people save for a new home, Nadia loves the idea of creating a brighter future for the team’s clients. As she assists them with asset allocation, estate and retirement planning strategies, and online support, she has an active hand in helping clients achieve their aspirations.
Nadia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in merchandising and marketing from Berkeley College in New Jersey.
Growing up near an equestrian center, Nadia developed a love for riding horses, and she continues to ride on the weekends and hopes to own her own horse someday. She currently lives in Guttenberg, NJ, with her boyfriend and two cats. In her free time, she enjoys playing chess, going to the movies, playing tennis, baking, and cooking.
Nadia has volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Queens and has worked to provide meals for people experiencing homelessness in Manhattan.
Paul Thomasset

Paul Thomasset has worked with clients in the financial services industry for nearly a decade.
Paul’s favorite part of his job is helping clients turn their long-term financial dreams into realities through sound investment planning. He focuses on assisting individuals and families with investment and retirement planning and working with business owners on succession planning and strategies for business monetization. With each interaction, he hopes to get his clients one step closer to achieving a financial goal.
Paul and his wife, Marie, live Allendale NJ community, where they raised their two children, Carly and Dylan. They are both active in the community volunteers and leaders. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf, taking hikes and walks, cooking, and entertaining friends and family.
Away from the office, Paul is on the board of directors for the Holiday Observers and was formerly a board member for the Bergen Volunteers. He is also a member of the Allendale Financial Advisory Committee.
Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in business and nutrition from Cornell University.

Doug enjoys helping clients work toward achieving their short- and long-term goals by crafting a plan that will help keep them on track. He understands that the world of investing can be confusing, or even intimidating, and he is passionate about helping his clients navigate those complexities. Because they’ve worked hard for their money, he wants to help ensure their money works hard for them.
Doug holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Mathematics from the University of Pennsylvania, a member of the Ivy League.
Doug currently lives in New York City with his wife, Tracy, and their three daughters, Larissa, Maddy, and Samantha. He’s an avid long-distance runner, and he has completed 15 marathons since 2001 all over the Eastern seaboard.
Away from the office, Doug serves as a current board member of Jawonio Inc., and he’s a current member and former president of the Rotary Club of Pearl River. He actively supports nonprofits such as Meals on Wheels and Autism Speaks.
James Lugo

Jim Lugo has spent over 20 years helping his clients meet their financial needs. As a specialist in estate planning strategies, retirement planning, asset allocation, and investment planning, Jim consistently crafts personalized solutions for his clients that help them take steps toward reaching their objectives.
There is nothing more satisfying to Jim than helping a client meet their financial goals. He loves the feeling that he is the “last stop” in the financial loop and that he has a hand in turning their dreams into realities. He feels passionate about building and maintaining trusted relationships with clients so they can work together to achieve those goals.
Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Thomas Aquinas College.
A first-generation American, Jim has lived in the Rockland County area of New York for over 50 years. He currently lives in Clarkstown with his wife, Maria, and two children. Jim has a deep love for the arts, especially the performing arts, and sits on the investment committee for the Bergen County Players.
An active member of his community, Jim is a member of the board of directors of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rockland County. He is also the former treasurer and current board member of Elmwood Community Playhouse, New City Rotarian, and he and his family regularly volunteer at Meals on Wheels of Rockland County.

Lucy Salvatore

Lucy has spent over 30 years working in the financial services industry, delivering high-quality customer service in every interaction with a client. Through her work, she’s able to support both the general needs of her team and specific client requests.
Lucy loves working with people and being the first point of contact for clients as they work with the team. She ensures that client’s daily needs are met, and she coordinates a wide range of operational and administrative tasks in the office.
With parents that came over to the United States from Italy, Lucy’s first language is Italian. She currently lives in Clifton, NJ, with her husband, Jason, her daughter, Gisella, and their two dogs. During warmer months, she and her family enjoy going for motorcycle rides around the town. Lucy and her daughter also volunteer at the local animal shelter.

Joe thoroughly enjoys teaching his clients about the markets and economy, while helping them clearly understand which financial products they own and, more importantly, why they own them. Serving as a financial educator to his clients has always been an important part of his practice; focusing on Asset Allocation/Diversification, Retirement Planning, Estate Planning, Insurance Protection, and Asset Preservation. Joe currently resides in Fort Lee, NJ and has two young adult children; one who is currently in her last year at Binghamton University and the other who is in the process of becoming a licensed electrician. Some of Joe’s hobbies include playing guitar; and practicing Pilates & yoga. Additionally, Joe is conversational in both Italian and Spanish.
