Lydell Thompson, CFP

Lydell has twenty eight years (28) in Financial Services including nineteen (19) years as a Financial Advisor at Wells Fargo Advisors. He has helped to invest assets for individuals, trusts, retirement plans, charitable organizations and businesses. Through a long-term investment approach, Lydell helps clients to develop and implement strategies designed for building wealth and realizing their financial goals. His mission is to provide objective and timely investment advice and guidance with the highest level of professional service in building and preserving wealth for clients. Lydell holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Wake Forest University and Masters of Science degree in Personal Financial Planning from the College for Financial Planning. Lydell has also earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ? certification from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, INC. (CFP Board) and the Retirement Income Certified Professional? (RICP?) designation. Lydell has previously participated in many civic and community organizations, including the Graduate Services Advisory Board at Winston-Salem State University, president of the Experiment in Self-Reliance (ESR) board in Winston-Salem, member of the Black Philanthropy Initiative (BPI) and advisory board member of Gramercy Research Group. Lydell is also a graduate of the 2006 Class of Leadership Winston-Salem. In his free time, he enjoys working out at the YMCA, traveling, watching sports and volunteering at his church. Lydell is currently a board member of Sunnyside Ministries.
