Anthony (Tony) Carney, RICP

Senior Vice President - Investments

Tony Carney knows that a well-managed investment portfolio is the cornerstone to building wealth. His philosophy goes beyond managing portfolios to employ a
long-term approach to comprehensive wealth planning including analysis of liabilities, risk management, retirement income planning, personal finance and estate planning strategies to transition wealth to future generations.

His client relationships begin with an in-depth consultation to gain insight into each client’s current financial situation and goals. His objective is to help people live their best lives and reach retirement without compromising their future. Relying on time-tested strategies of diversification and allocation rebalancing, Tony regularly evaluates portfolios and meets with clients to help ensure their plans respond to market conditions as well as changes in their personal lives.

In addition to holding his Series 7 and 66 registrations, Tony is a licensed agent in life, annuity and long-term care insurance. He earned the Retirement Income Certified Professional® (RICP®) designation by demonstrating an understanding of concepts, methods and strategies for providing financial advice to individuals on retirement planning. In 2023, he was named as one of the Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Teams for Kentucky.

Tony earned his B.A. from Georgetown College and has taken Masters’ level classes at Webster University and Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He lived overseas for many years and owned or co-owned several private companies, giving him insight into the retirement needs of business executives and the owners of closely held companies.

A world traveler, Tony speaks several languages and is engaged by learning about world cultures and people. In his spare time, he is an avid reader and runner, and enjoys spending time with his family.

Julie M. Jones

Assistant Vice President

Julie M. Jones has been with Wells Fargo Advisors since 1997. Prior to becoming Senior Registered Client Associate, she served as Branch and then Complex Operations Manager. Her long tenure and operations background is of value to clients in proper documentation, account maintenance, resolution of questions and execution of client requests. Taking a detailed approach to each client’s plan brings her great satisfaction, and she is happiest when clients view her and the team as their extended family.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Louisville, and the FINRA Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 securities registrations. In 2018, she was named as a Platinum Council Client Associate by the firm.*

Julie and her husband, Chris, have three children and live in Louisville. She enjoys cooking and appreciates the time she spends walking in neighborhood parks with her husband.

Charlene Brucek

Senior Client Associate

Charlene (Char) Brucek has been serving clients with responsiveness and care since 2003. Working with generational ladders of clients’ families, she is proactive in helping make the most of their opportunities and minimizing risk as related to her role on the team. She demonstrates seasoned judgement in all matters and strives to be a good partner to the team’s clients and to her colleagues. Her goal is to provide best-in-class service and guidance to help clients succeed financially. Char considers clients members of the team’s family and strives to improve the quality of their lives.

Aiming to make a difference in the world, Char was a wish grantor with Make-A-Wish and is a member of the Love Feast program at her church, where they plan, prepare and serve meals to underprivileged guests. She also created a Cozy Warm Coats for Kids program for underprivileged children.

Char and her husband, Ed, live in Louisville and have four children. She enjoys making crafts, gardening, cooking, game nights with her husband, and spending time with family and friends.
