Melanie is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER? professional, a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor?, and a Certified Private Wealth Advisor?. Having earned these designations, Melanie is required to meet continuing education requirements to maintain them & consistently applies her advanced skills to her work with clients, which is one of the most valuable components she brings to the comprehensive planning process. Melanie earned her B.S. in Education from the University of Missouri and went on to obtain her Master?s degree from Webster University with an emphasis in communication. With a deep commitment to her community, Melanie supports animal rescue organizations, as well as organizations that support education throughout life. Before joining the financial industry, Melanie was a teacher in her local school district & carries an enduring passion for educational opportunities, both in her career & away from the office. Melanie has lived in Kirkwood, MO, since 2003 & loves her community. Together with her late husband Pete, Melanie has a son, Joseph, & a daughter, Grace Elaine. Melanie enjoys being outside as much as possible, reading books of various genres, practicing yoga, & spending time with family, friends & colleagues, which are one in the same.
