Background and Experience
Mark Maness began his financial services career in 1992 with Prudential Securities in Ft Worth. After moving to a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors in 1996, Mark has consistently been recognized for his outstanding commitment to client service and advocacy.
In 2015, Mark was honored with the “Wells Fargo Advisors Spirit Award.” The Wells Fargo Advisors Spirit Award was established to recognize a select group of Premier Advisors for their lifetime achievements – both personal and professional – for epitomizing and reflecting Wells Fargo Advisors’ values. The Premier Advisors designation is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by business production, completion of educational components and professionalism. Winners’ hand prints are cast in bronze and displayed in the Premier Advisors Tribute Hall located in the Home office for fellow team members and visitors to see. Mark serves the firm as a member of its Advisory Board.
Mark was raised in Irving, Texas, and played college baseball at the University of Dallas, before earning his degree from Dallas Baptist University. Mark and his wife, Barbara, reside in Colleyville.
Away From the Office
Mark has been involved in many charitable and civic functions. He founded the Main Event Golf Tournament and partnered with Texas Special Olympics to raise more than $500,000 over 5 years.
Mark’s community involvement includes serving the Grapevine Heritage Foundation Board, Founder- Grapevine Dirty Dozen, 1996 Grapefest Chairman, and the 1996 United Way-Volunteer of the Year for the City of Grapevine. Mark served eleven years with the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD Education Foundation Board and completed his term as President of the Board of Directors.
Mark and Barbara have two children and a grandson. They are active at First United Methodist Church in Grapevine.
Jennifer Baumann
Senior Registered Client Associate

Jennifer provides operational support and utilizes her detail oriented nature to help ensure clients are provided with exceptional service.
Background and experience
Jennifer is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree. She has worked in the financial services industry since 1999. She joined Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2003 while living in South Florida. After returning to the metroplex, she joined our team in 2008. Jennifer is available to assist clients with their operational, trading, and reporting needs.
Away from the office
Jennifer has been married to her husband, Chris, for over 15 years and they have two sons and a daughter. She stays busy with her children’s sports and activities, but also enjoys cooking, yoga, and working with her sorority’s alumnae association.
Corey T. Brannum, CRPC®
Financial Advisor

Corey works with clients to create long-term, personalized investment plans in addition to overseeing the risk management design of portfolios. Our team’s mission and vision is to be “good stewards of our client’s dreams”
Background and Experience
Corey is a veteran of the United States Air Force which he had the privilege to serve for 10 years. Over the last 10 years Corey has continued to serve families of the community as a Financial Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors.
Corey brings an added benefit to the team as a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC). The CRPC focuses on the pre- and post-retirements of our clients by looking at the “big picture”. Corey utilizes his CRPC training to help clients understand the importance of diversifying their 401(k)s to match investment objectives and keep overall portfolios in balance. He also helps our clients manage risk through life insurance and annuities.
Corey graduated from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth with a major in Finance. He also holds a Master’s of Science in Human Environmental Sciences with an emphasis in Family Financial Planning from the University of Alabama.
Away From the Office
Corey lives in Cresson with his wife Tracy and three children, Brooke, Benjamin, and Bailey. In his free time, Corey enjoys playing golf, training for triathlons and also spends time giving back to the community by volunteering his time to the Tarrant County Food Bank. Corey also maintains a strong commitment to his faith and attends StoneWater Church in Granbury.
Derek R. Stanley, CFP®
Financial Advisor

Derek specializes in helping clients build, manage, protect and transition their wealth. Derek's primary focus with the team is on Investments and providing access to banking and trust services available through Wells Fargo affiliates. Our team's mission is to be "good stewards of our client's dreams."
Background and Experience
Mr. Stanley met the rigorous experience and ethical requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., by successfully completing the financial planning coursework and passing the CFP®Certification Examination that covered the following areas: general principles of financial strategies, insurance planning and risk management, employee benefits planning and retirement and estate planning. CFP®certificate holders also agree to meet ongoing continuing education requirements and to uphold CFP Board’s Code of Ethics and Professional Responsibility, Rules of Conduct and Financial Planning Practice Standards.
Leveraging our firm’s proprietary investment planning software, Envision ®, Derek works with our clients as they navigate through the complex transition from the accumulation phase to the asset distribution portion of their life.
Derek is a graduate of Baylor University, where he earned a double major in Financial Services & Planning and Economics. Upon graduation in 2004, he began his financial services career with Wells Fargo in Waco, TX.
Away From the Office
Derek lives in Burleson with his wife Danielle and three daughters, Ellie, Paisley & Greenlee. The majority of his free time is spent coaching his daughter’s various sports teams or attempting to get a round of golf in. Derek also maintains a strong commitment to his faith and attends Travis Avenue Baptist Church and weekly meetings through Bible Study Fellowship (BSF).
