Once we’ve decided on your ideal and acceptable goals, the Envision process “stress-tests” them against historical market simulations. Your personal “Target Zone” is based on the results and helps you and our team allocate your assets in a manner suitable to your objectives. Better yet, it provides an investment “sweet spot” and helps instill confidence in your likelihood of achieving your goals.
So much more than an investment plan
“Investment planning” often boils down to cookie-cutter investment mixes and generalized guesswork. It’s better than nothing, but it’s impersonal and vague.
The Envision process does more.
Our process goes beyond simply choosing an investment strategy and hoping for the best. It’s a life planning tool that helps you and our team:
- Explore your life goals
- Plan your investments around benchmarks that hold real meaning for you
- Track your progress toward them
Best of all, it gives you and your advisor the tools you need to:
- Decide on an appropriate investment strategy
- Track your progress
- Re-sync — or rethink — your approach whenever necessary
By planning your investments around benchmarks and life events that hold real meaning for you, our Envision process can connect you to your investment strategy in a refreshing, revealing, and personal way. Even better, it can keep you apprised of that critical financial question, “How am I doing?”
process offers us the tools and technology we need to discuss your life expectations, decide on an appropriate investment strategy, track your progress, and update your approach whenever necessary. Here’s what Envision plan holders think:
Results are based on a survey conducted online by Versta Research from July-August 2016 among 762 investors with Financial Advisor relationships. Results are not representative of other client experiences or indicative of future success or performance. The Envision process is a brokerage service provided by Wells Fargo Advisors.IMPORTANT: The projections or other information generated by the Envision tool regarding the likelihood of various investment outcomes are hypothetical in nature, do not reflect actual investment results and are not guarantees of future results. Results may vary with each use and over time.Envision® methodology: Based on accepted statistical methods, the Envision tool uses a simulation model to test your Ideal, Acceptable and Recommended Investment Plans. The simulation model uses assumptions about inflation, financial market returns and the relationships among these variables. These assumptions were derived from analysis of historical data. Using Monte Carlo simulation, the Envision tool simulates 1,000 different potential outcomes over a lifetime of investing varying historical risk, return, and correlation amongst the assets. Some of these scenarios will assume strong financial market returns, similar to the best periods of history for investors. Others will be similar to the worst periods in investing history. Most scenarios will fall somewhere in between.
