Michael began his over two decade long career at Bank of New York as a Financial Advisor. He later transitioned to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2006, Morgan Stanley in 2011, before returning back full circle to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2020. Michael is a founding partner of the Piccolo Awad Wealth Management Group. Michael and his team advise families on how to navigate through the intricate issues of wealth management, serving at the center of their clients’ financial lives.

Prior to joining the financial services industry, Michael graduated from SUNY, New Paltz with a concentration in Finance and Political Science. Michael sought to continue deepening his financial knowledge by becoming a Private Investment Management (PIM) Portfolio Manager. As A PIM portfolio manager, Michael is part of a select group of advisors who are qualified to manage client portfolios on a discretionary basis.

Michael, his wife Jenelle, and their three daughters Juliana, Isabella and Everly currently reside in Ramsey, New Jersey. As an active personality, Michael enjoys golfing, sports, boating, but more importantly spending time with his family.

Over the past decade, Michael has participated in several different philanthropic and community driven organizations, most notably the Alan J. Anderson Foundation, where he is one of the founding members. Michael’s primary responsibility is to strengthen the core values of the foundation by identifying exceptional student athletes and raising scholarship funding for students to attend William Patterson University.
