Clinton Rickett, MBA, CFP
Managing Director - Investments
Clint Rickett bought his first investment when he was 18 years old and his first house when he was 22. Three decades later, Clint has been recognized as an expert in the industry, and leads the Rickett & Champa Financial Consulting Group of Wells Fargo Advisors. The group manages $600 million for approximately 310 families as of November 2024.
From a humble upbringing in Ashland, Ohio… to being featured in Forbes magazine as a Best-in-State Wealth Advisor (1). Clint’s team was also selected as a Forbes Best-in-State Wealth Management Team. (2) Both 2024 recognitions are rare, and a testament to the trust clients place to guide them financially, a responsibility that is never taken for granted.
Clint is ranked in the top 3% of Financial Advisors within a nationally ranked firm of over 12,000 advisors, but Clint’s personal definition of success is twofold:
· Help ensure every client accomplishes their goals with less stress and lower taxes.
· Embrace and love his three teenage daughters every moment he gets (when he’s not in the office, he is carpooling to kid activities across Northeast Ohio).
Clint earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Mount Union, as well as an MBA from The Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He earned his FINRA Series 7 and 66 securities registrations, in addition to holding life insurance, accident & health, and variable annuities licenses and a Long-Term Care insurance certificate. Furthermore, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, having earned a certification that is among the most recognized in the financial services industry.
An active member of his community, Clint has served as a member of the Lorain County Chamber of Commerce, as a youth soccer coach for the city of Avon, and as past President of the Board of Directors for Family Promise of Lorain County, 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to improving lives and reducing homelessness in Lorain County.
