Since entering the industry in 1985, Richard has built a reputation for integrity, consistency, and an unwavering commitment to the clients and families he serves.

Throughout his career, he has developed long-standing relationships that often span multiple generations, reflecting the trust and continuity that define his approach.
Richard believes exceptional advice begins with listening — understanding each client’s goals, values, and concerns — and meeting clients where they are, both financially and personally. Known for his dedication, he has always taken pride in traveling to meet clients face-to-face, reinforcing the collaboration and accessibility that have been hallmarks of his practice for decades.
His professional experience includes roles with Kidder Peabody, UBS, and Morgan Stanley, along with leadership and mentorship responsibilities within the Portsmouth, New Hampshire office that allowed him to support and guide fellow advisors while continuing to focus on client relationships.
A graduate of Colby College with a degree in Economics, Richard maintains a lifelong passion for the investment profession and for continuous learning. He values both the intellectual challenge of markets and the personal fulfillment that comes from helping clients pursue meaningful financial outcomes.
Richard resides in Portsmouth with his wife, Joan, and takes great pride in his growing family. Outside of the office, he enjoys reading historical biographies and novels, playing chess, cooking with family, golfing, skiing, and spending meaningful time with loved ones.
