Rick was raised in Moraga, California.  After earning a Business degree from CSU San Diego, he began his career as a Financial Advisor with Shearson American Express in Walnut Creek. In 1988 he joined A.G. Edwards, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors. 

In addition to his duties as a Financial Advisor, Rick’s commitment to client advocacy led him to take on the role of Branch Manager from 1998-2003.  He also served as Advisory Board member at A.G. Edwards, Wachovia Securities and Wells Fargo Advisors and still enjoys helping new Advisors successfully serve their own clients. 

Rick completed his MBA in 1994, earned a CFP® certification in 1997 and a CIMA® designation from the Wharton School of Business in 2007.  

Away from the office, Rick spends free time with his wife Susan, a local business manager, and their two grown children. Together they enjoy travel, the theatre, hiking and volunteering with their church and local charities.  Rick has enjoyed playing softball in the Tri-Valley area since 1984.
