We are paid in two ways, either by a percentage of assets under management, or on a commission basis for individual solutions. We do not charge any fee for talking with our clients or running any additional services for you (such as 401(k) review, Retirement and Income planning, etc). We will work with you on what makes the most financial sense, whether it be only one form or a combination of both. Wells Fargo Advisors charges annual account fees on accounts when the total household value is under $500,000. A household is considered a combination of the values for all accounts under one family tree.
Assets under management are charged a fixed percentage on the value of the funds held with us. This includes the account maintenance fee as well as transaction costs within the account eligible. All fees will be discussed prior to account opening.
Commission ranges typically from 1-2% for a buy or sell of equities (Stocks, ETFs). Individual bonds/CDs have a sales charge included in the asking price. Mutual funds and UITs have their own fee schedule which we will disclose. We will gladly discuss any other product’s cost and payment.
