The responsibility of managing a client’s wealth is a very personal and important distinction. Rob and his team’s practice of individualized attention is the vital key to the group’s success. The information and knowledge he reviews is only in the interest of his clients and to generate the greatest security of their assets.
Service and character are the binding disposition of this group. Rob shares his devotion for his clients through his knowledgeable performance and composed demeanor.

Rob has access to a personal network of estate planners, attorneys and accountants, who share his dedication to service.
Rob joined Herb Goldberg's team at Smith Barney in April of 1999. At Smith Barney he earned his FINRA Series 65 and completed the Financial Planning Specialist designation: a program administered by Ernst & Young, LLC. Since moving the Goldberg Sek Group to Wells Fargo Advisors in 2006, Rob earned his life insurance, health insurance and annuity licenses. In 2010, he earned his FINRA Series 31 registration.
Rob began his career in 1996 with mutual fund research for one of Merrill Lynch’s top financial advisors, while additionally charged with managing accounts, and municipal bonds. In 1998, Rob joined the municipal bond firm, now known as, Hennion and Walsh, where he earned his FINRA Series 7 and 63 registrations. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance.
Rob is married to his college sweetheart, Laura Marie; they live in Wayne New Jersey with their two sons. Rob is a member of the Advisory Board to the Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Ramapo College and a regular sponsor to the Wayne P.A.L. boy’s basketball program.
