Robert Stegemeier

As a Financial Advisor, I use my education and more than 40 years of experience in the financial industry to help people accumulate money and manage their wealth.

 

I went to Granite City South High School.   I then graduated from Illinois State University with bachelor of science degrees in both Mathematics and Economics. 

After graduation I began a career in the finance industry where I worked 13 years as a banker mainly focused on lending and then 27 years in the brokerage industry as a Financial Advisor. For 12 years I worked as both a Financial Advisor and Branch Manager in the Alton Il. branch.

My main interest when away from work is my family.  I have been married to my wife Kathy for 34 years and we have 3 children. (Brad, Amanda, and Chloe) and 6 grandchildren (Fallyn, Laityn, Hayden, Suttyn, Quinn, and Violet).   I especially enjoy traveling and going on vacations with the family. 

I enjoy the daily challenge of working with clients who sometimes have unique and complex financial situations due to approaching retirement, aging parents, children, owning businesses, tax issues, estate issues, and many others.   I enjoy working with them to get organized and establish a plan to help them meet their long-term goals.   At Wells Fargo Advisors, we have a tremendous support system and can offer and help our clients with a wide variety of products and services.
